The ETBB has given a number of grants so far, including:
- 1991-92. The biggest project we ever did was to create the Teacher's Resource Pack, which cost us about £10,000. Originally published by Tony Sowter it was later transferred to the English Bridge Union.
- Introduced MiniBridge and provided teacher but not student notes. Still in use.
- Promotion of Bridge in Schools. Alex Salisbury worked on this and then was taken on by EBU. Various grants were given to promote activities in schools.
- ETBB has assisted the Home Unions in their efforts to promote bridge to young people.
- 1995. Produced a standard system for the Juniors and teaching notes for national teaching of better Under 19 players. Sally Brock typeset and it was distributed by computer.
- 2000-06. We have offered grants to young players of all abilities from all Home Unions to attend junior camp and Pairs and certain junior competitions. This greatly increased the interest and attendance in these events.
